My final wedding of 2013 took me back to the wonderful Sandon Hall  to capture the wedding of Lizzi + Darren.
I managed to share the first previews on Christmas Eve before we went into Christmas shut down, but I"m delighted to now bring the full story to you here to enjoy.

Lizzi + Darren and I first met at a Sandon Hall Tasting Lunch with Jenkinsons Caterers and as soon as we started talking, we all were on exactly the same wavelength and I knew that my approach to photographing a wedding with my predominantly documentary style would be absolutely perfect for their day.

When the morning came to head to Sandon Hall to document Lizzi getting ready with her Bridesmaids in the bedroom at Sandon, unfortunately the weather was already against us, with heavy rain set in for the day. Fortunately, being at Sandon this isn"t a major issue as the interior of Sandon is such a beautiful setting for photographs, and there are several different areas for guests to relax and enjoy their time at the wedding without ever feeling enclosed, and with the fact that the weather stayed with us well in to the evening, this is definitely a good thing! It was also particularly fantastic that the whole wedding was at Sandon Hall without having to venture outside for the ceremony or transfer to another venue, which especially when I saw Lizzi"s beautiful gown from My Little Wedding Shop in Bridgnorth, it was definitely not a dress to get wet!

Despite the weather however, nothing could have damped the spirits of Lizzi + Darren, a couple so incredibly in love it was a pleasure to witness their wedding, along with  capturing the emotion of the day.
