After sharing the initial previews a couple of weeks ago, I"m delighted to bring the featured look at Aimi + Ian"s Alrewas Hayes wedding photographs.

Aimi + Ian are such a great fun loving couple with a deep emotional connection evident not only when photographing the two of them together, both on their engagement shoot in Cannock Chase and on the wedding day, but especially during the ceremony and the speeches. Witnessing and capturing the raw beautiful emotion of a couple so deeply in love makes my job quite simply one of the best in the world.

Aimi + Ian chose the wonderful setting of Alrewas Hayes, a venue that had previously slipped by me, but I was delighted to finally get the chance to photograph a wedding at the fabulous Staffordshire venue.
With the weather being completely on our side - exactly as it was for Liz + Chris" big day at Somerford where I first met Aimi + Ian - the day could not have been better.

My coverage started at Aimi + Ian"s home in Burntwood for the hair and makeup preparations of the bride and her bridesmaids before continuing the day with Ian and the boys at his parents house around the corner. The rest of the day was at the fabulous Alrewas Hayes in Burton, a venue I simply cannot wait to be back at.

As soon as I walked into Aimi + Ian"s home I knew the day was going to be a fabulous vintage styled wedding.
A wedding day perfectly timed to match with braking up from school term...
And deep breaths...
I loved the detailing on Aimi"s hair, with the different plaits coming together in a unique vintage inspired hair style for her wedding.
After spending the morning with the girls, it was fantastic that timings worked out that I could capture the boys" final preparations.
Ian is much like me with his Mac - if it doesn"t exist on there, it ain"t happening!
Aimi looked amazing in her gown from Katie"s Brides.
Confirmed by the expression on a very proud dad"s face when he walked into the room.
When I walked into the ceremony room I could see how nervous Ian was, nearly in tears just waiting for Aimi to walk down the aisle to him. It really was a beautiful emotional ceremony to witness.
I had such an amazing time capturing Aimi + Ian"s wedding at Alrewas Hayes, which really is a spectacular wedding to photograph at. I can"t wait to be back there in August now!
